Rapid Growth and Beautiful Results

Using Compost Effectively

To help your flowers grow, just sprinkle 2-6 cups (depending on size) of compost around your perennials in the spring. Incorporate 0.5 inches to 1 inch in your annual beds for lush flowers. This helps control disease by feeding your plants biologically.

Compost contains both microorganisms and nutrients. Plant roots trade carbon with microorganisms for better nutrient use. The organic matter helps build better soil structure and drainage, keeps your soils alive, and brings out the earthworms.

Mulch – More than decoration.

Our natural bark mulch increases infiltration and keeps those pesky weeds down.

Starting from Scratch?

To make a new bed, simply place 8-12’ of garden soil (50-50 bend of compost and soil) in the new garden area.
